The Tremper Theatre Program produces four full-length theatrical productions per academic year. Any Student within KUSD is able to audition. Tremper's annual musical is cast through the KUSD Theatre Arts Program auditions. Please contact the Tremper Theatre office at 262-359-2163 with any questions.

The Wolves
Performance Dates: November 12-14, 19-21
Synopsis: Left quad. Right quad. Lunge. A girls indoor soccer team warms up. From the safety of their suburban stretch circle, the team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vim and vigor of a pack of adolescent warriors. A portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine American girls who just want to score some goals.
Audition Date: September 8th and 9th
Audition Location: Tremper Studio Theatre (Room 120); Enter Tremper through Door 27 which
is closest to 30th Avenue and 85th Street. Park in the west parking lot, on the north end
(closest to 85th)
Audition Times: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Audition Sign Up: Students will be able to sign up for a 10 minute time slot on either audition
date. A reminder will be emailed to each student two days before their audition date.
Audition Details: Students are asked to perform one monologue from the provided monologues.
These monologues do not need to be fully memorized, but the performer should be quite
familiar with them. Students will also be asked to do a short silent activity to show physical
expression and movement.
Characters:
#00 - The goalie. Intense, quiet, and suffers from extreme performance anxiety, yet is a high achiever.
#2 - A defender. Friendly, naive, and often shy, she acts as a grounding force.
#7 - A striker. Fierce, vulgar, and outspoken, she is a dominant personality on the team.
#8 - A defender. Funny, quirky, and one of the younger members of the team.
#11 - A midfielder. “Brainy,” thoughtful, and somewhat morbid, she is a talented, intellectual player.
#13 - A stoner/pothead. Silly, goofy, and laid
#14 - Insecure and sweet, she is best friends with #7 and is homeschooled.
#25 - The captain. A dedicated leader and ex
#46 - The new girl. Awkward, talented, and struggling to fit into established team dynamics.
Soccer Mom - An adult who appears briefly near the end of the play.
Rehearsal Information: Rehearsals will officially begin in September. Rehearsals will typically occur after school from 4:30 until 8:00. Rehearsals are currently planned to occur on Mondays through Thursdays. A complete rehearsal calendar will be shared through KUSD Google Drive once the cast list is posted. Cast members are not permitted to miss more than three rehearsals, unless absences were already scheduled, so please list all conflicts on your audition form. No absences will be allowed during tech rehearsals.
